Four Steps For Writing A Good eBay Listing Title

Competition on eBay can be fierce, so it is important to get yourself noticed, when you are selling your products. As numerous product categories are highly competitive, your marketing of your product needs to stand out and so writing a good eBay listing title is important.
The first and maybe the most important part of your sales pitch is the title. you need to be accurate and concise. Here are the 4 steps I follow when writing a title for one of my items:
1. Start with the manufacturer, as brand names sell on eBay, in fact, the majority of all eBay searches begin with a brand name.
2. Next describe the product as concisely as you can.
3. State the price.
4. State the condition, and if the item is new use the eBay acronym, example NIB, meaning New In Box. If used, I do not place the condition in the title, I place it in the first line of my description.
Always check out your competition to see what they are placing in their titles to determine if they sell and at what price. Remember, you are selling in a very competitive marketplace.
Use keywords in your title and avoid terms like "amazing", "incredible" or "fantastic", remember you are dealing with limited space for your title and to gain attention, writing a good eBay listing title will help differentiate you and your product.
